However, since the main work and events are currently concentrated in the Taipei and New Taipei areas, transportation subsidies are not yet provided. Therefore, please consider your own availability and commute distance accordingly.

    • Q2: Can I go abroad for an exchange program during the volunteer year? Can I switch to participate online?

      • The volunteer program requires participation for the entire year, from early September 2025 to early September 2026.
If you plan to study abroad or participate in an exchange program during this period, it’s recommended to apply for the next volunteer cycle.
To avoid issues with time differences and scheduling conflicts during the exchange, online participation as a substitute is not available for those on exchange programs.

In my experience at LFT, what I appreciate most is the openness and multi-directional communication—any idea you bring up receives feedback, and creative thoughts are always encouraged.

Even if some ideas might still be far from being practical, the culture of actively responding makes me really value that my own beliefs are recognized.

More than that, these feelings come from how approachable every Lead For Taiwan leader is which makes the whole organization feel very equal and open without the traditional sense of hierarchical respect.

My time participating here has been a rare and valuable experience for me. I’m grateful to LFT for providing such an environment where I can freely express my ideas and continue to learn and grow!

Personally participating in Lead For Taiwan’s organizational operations has made me deeply believe that promoting critical thinking education is truly meaningful. Witnessing Lead For Taiwan’s growth and its collaborations with schools and companies across more cities has also given me a great sense of accomplishment.

I’ve been following this organization since high school, and now that I’ve actually joined, seeing LFT continuously grow makes me truly touched and grateful. I also feel that LFT is so fortunate to be organized by such thoughtful and capable people. I’m sure LFT will keep shining and thriving in the future

Because the work at LFT is like a redemption from the frustration I felt during my internship. Although the work is unpaid, the meaning behind what we do is profound. Even though I’m not on the front lines like many skilled training instructors, every time I create posts to convey the core concepts of critical thinking education, I feel a strong sense of accomplishment and pride

I really enjoy the atmosphere of working with the team here. Everyone is eager to share and communicate, whether in meetings or daily interactions—you can truly feel everyone’s ideas and dedication. The open and friendly environment has made this time a very pleasant experience for me.

Being part of a team full of passion and initiative has helped me grow a lot, both in professional skills and interpersonal collaboration. I’m really grateful to everyone!
