Winter and Summer Camps

Enhancing Thinking Skills / Expanding Networks

Every year during winter and summer vacations, LFT and training lecturers organize empowerment camps, bringing critical thinking courses, future issues discussions, and various soft skills workshops to students across Taiwan.

The camps emphasize creating a comfortable and open space for discussions, using interactive and question-based teaching methods, encouraging students to express their ideas and questions confidently. The camps also focus on self-exploration and interpersonal communication for the participants. They provide students with opportunities to interact with peers from different regions, collaborate on project preparations, learn teamwork, and practice their expressive abilities.

Since 2018, LFT has been conducting empowerment camps in cities such as Taipei, Kaohsiung, Tainan, and Chiayi County, impacting more than 1,280 students from 40 different schools.

Critical Thinking Forum (Debate and Critical Analysis)

The Critical Thinking Forum aims to provide Taiwanese students with opportunities to engage in Western philosophy education, interactive learning, and discussions on public affairs. Critical Thinking Forum has successfully organized seven events since it was launched in the summer of 2018 at Jianguo Senior High School. As LFT expands beyond Taipei, we aspire to lead students from diverse backgrounds on profound journeys of critical thinking.

Future Society and Leadership Training Camp
(Leader's Thinking)

The Future Society and Leadership Training Camp aims to train Taiwanese youth in exploring future public issues. Through the 'Issue Exploration' session, we guide students in analyzing the problems and potential solutions faced by Taiwanese society, thereby developing their abilities in systematic thinking and critical analysis. Since collaborating with the YongLin Foundation in the winter of 2019, we have successfully organized six events of Youth Leadership Training Camp. In the future, we will continue our efforts to bring LFT's Youth Leadership Training Camp to different counties and cities, benefiting even more students.
